Two new riverboats from Riviera River Cruises — Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose — will be coming to Europe’s waterways in 2025, both proudly touting “Riviera” in their names as part of a new branding initiative from the line.
“With Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, our new ships launching in 2025, we’re moving away from using the names of famous British authors and proudly putting our own out there on the bow,” said Marilyn Conroy, executive vice president sales and marketing North America for Riviera River Cruises. “Riviera Radiance will also be a new style of ship, representing the height of luxurious river cruising. We’re looking forward to sailing aboard these new ships with you next year.”
Onboard Riviera Radiance
Radiance specifically, she explains, will feature a split-level bar and restaurant, a third dining room — dubbed “Mosaic,” with unique tasting menus inspired by European rivers — and the line’s biggest-ever suites. The next-generation vessel will measure 443 feet long and four decks tall, and will also showcase a sun deck and a pool; a bistro with an open kitchen; a gym; and a spa and wellness area.
Its 89 staterooms will sleep 178 passengers in double beds (convertible to twin-size beds) and offer a bathroom with a rain shower, a desk and chair, a flat-screen television, air conditioning, and an in-room coffee machine and tea kettle. Plus, 344-square-foot grand suites will be Riviera’s largest, complete with a balcony and outdoor seating, as well as an interior seating area with a sofa, a lounge chair and a table.

Meanwhile, 258-square-foot superior suites will come with a French balcony and a similar seating area with a lounge chair and table, and 172-square-foot double cabins will be outfitted with their own furnished seating areaa. Such staterooms on the upper and middle decks will sport French balconies, while those on the lower deck will have a fixed window.
Onboard Riviera Rose
Although Riviera Rose is a smaller vessel — at 262 feet long — it will span four decks and feature a sun deck, a sky lounge, a bar, a pool, a fitness center and a relaxed restaurant with casual seating.
A total of 57 cabins will cater to 114 passengers with comparable convertible double beds, a bathroom with a rain shower, a desk and chair, a flat-screen television, air conditioning and a coffee machine and tea kettle. Sized the same as Radiance’s but without grand suites, Rose’s equivalent balcony suites and standard cabins will also be outfitted to match.
