Small-ship cruise line Windstar Cruises just entered into a partnership with Pacific Beachcomber, which operates seven luxury hotels throughout French Polynesia. The agreement will allow Windstar to enhance its options for pre- and post-cruise land packages at upscale resorts in the region.
"This collaboration not only further enhances our commitment to providing unparalleled luxury and the most romantic experiences for our guests in French Polynesia, but [it] also allows us to extend the Windstar experience seamlessly from sea to land, providing our guests with exceptional hospitality throughout their journey," said Christopher Prelog, president of Windstar.
A standout offering of the partnership is a two-night stay at The Brando, an exclusive private island eco-resort with just 35 villas. The package will be available beginning May 1 as a post-cruise add-on option, though it will be reserved solely for guests booked in Star Breeze’s top suites (the Broadmoor, Sea Island and Owner’s Suites). Plane transfers between Papeete and The Brando, daily excursions and spa treatments, beach equipment and other perks are included in the rate, which starts at $6,900 per person.
Together, we aim to deeply immerse our guests in the vibrant Polynesian culture and the untouched splendor of our natural surroundings.
"We are delighted to extend a warm invitation to Windstar Cruises’ guests to discover our secluded island havens, including The Brando, an eco-resort unlike any other nestled in the heart of French Polynesia,” said Richard Bailey, chairman of Pacific Beachcomber. “Together, we aim to deeply immerse our guests in the vibrant Polynesian culture and the untouched splendor of our natural surroundings.”
Since February, Windstar has also partnered exclusively with Pacific Beachcomber’s InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa for pre- and post-cruise stays on Tahiti; the line has now incorporated the resort into its Air + Hotel packages available from Los Angeles and Seattle, as well.
Finally, Windstar offers one-night overwater bungalow stays at Pacific Beachcomber’s Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana, which guests can book mid-cruise when overnighting on the island of Bora Bora.
